The banana in the recipe contains tryptophan, which is important in the body's production of serotonin and melatonin, which, among other things, regulate mood and circadian rhythm. Furthermore, the natural sugar found in honey causes the insulin in the blood to increase slightly, and makes it easier for tryptophan to enter the brain.

You need this

  • 1 scoop Collagen skin & hair complex
  • An organic small banana (100 g)
  • 1 1/2 dl organic chamomile tea
  • 2 dl organic freshly squeezed orange juice (200 g)
  • 1 tablespoon organic honey (20 g)

Do like this

Boil water, let cool a little before adding your tea*. Let stand and cool to room temperature. Blend the banana with the freshly squeezed orange juice in a blender along with your tea and some ice, then mix in 1 scoop of collagen powder.

Served in a glass with a straw!

The reason you should wait to pour in the collagen product last is that vitamin C is heat sensitive and is destroyed at high temperatures.

*The temperature affects the taste of the tea sometimes less and sometimes to the point of being undrinkable. Lighter tea requires a lower temperature and darker tea requires a higher temperature. For white tea, green tea and yellow tea use between 50°–85°C, for oolong teas and black teas use up to boiling water, between 90° – 100°C.
